The M.A. in Political Science

The department offers a Master of Arts (M.A.) in Political Science, although it does not accept applications for a terminal M.A. The M.A. requires 30 credit hours of graduate course work including at least 21 hours at the 7000 level or above and the completion of an M.A. thesis. M.A. students receiving a teaching assistantship are required to take Teaching Political Science I (PSCI 7008) and II (PSCI 7028).
