The Keller Center: The Center supports and encourages teaching, research and public service on topics and issues relating to the nature, meaning, and contemporary standing of First Amendment rights and liberties. Undergraduate classes, public events, and scholarly conferences are offered as ways of educating students, faculty and members of the community about the protections of free speech, press, association.
The Colorado European Union Center of Excellence: The CEUCE promotes
understanding of the European Union (EU) and transatlantic (EU-US)
relations through teaching, research and outreach activities at the
University of Colorado at Boulder and in the broader Mountain West
region. The CEUCE was founded in 2008 with the support of the
Delegation of the European Commission to the United States in
Washington, DC, and represents one the eleven institutions forming the
Network of European Union Centers of Excellence in the United States.
Center to Advance Research and Teaching in the Social Sciences: CARTSS supports social science research and teaching initiatives on the CU campus. This includes interdisciplinary projects involving faculty from different social sciences and other fields as well as discipline-based work. Seeking innovative ways to integrate faculty research with undergraduate and graduate teaching is a particular priority for CARTSS.
The Future Citizenship Project: This is an international venture to promote, coordinate, and facilitate access to research in the normative, empirical, and legal aspects of citizenship studies. The Future Citizenship Network consists of nearly 100 of the most noted citizenship scholars in the world. Initiatives include the e-journal Future Citizens, as well as workshops and conferences for participating scholars and graduate students.
