Welcome to the Department of Political Science at the University of Colorado at Boulder. We are proud to be among the best political science departments in the country. Our faculty are active researchers whose publications have appeared in the most prestigious outlets in the profession. The faculty is also highly devoted to graduate training and undergraduate education and can boast of numerous teaching awards. We offer research and teaching in American Politics, Comparative Politics, International Relations, Methods, Policy, and Political Theory. Political Networks Conference and Workshops
The department of political science proudly welcomes the political networks community to Boulder for the 5th Annual Political Networks Conference and Workshops. The sessions will be hosted at the Wolf Law Building on the Boulder campus, June 13-16, 2012. The meeting will be co-hosted by Anand Edward Sokhey and Seth Masket (DU). Attention Graduating Seniors: The graduation ceremony for the political science department will be held on Friday, May 11 at 3:00-4:15 pm in the Glenn Miller Ballroom (UMC). We will have a reception on the UMC terrace following the ceremony, weather permitting. The University of Colorado commencement program will be held in the stadium at 8:30. If you are planning on graduating this May and have not yet applied, please contact your advisor immediately to complete your paperwork. You must apply by March 23 if you would like to be listed in the commencement program. May graduates do NOT need to complete an online graduation application.
If you are planning on graduating in August or December you may also make an appointment with your advisor now. August graduates must apply by March 23 in order to be listed in the May commencement program.
